The second Westray Connections music festival was held in Broughton and Pierowall at the end of August. A session in the Pierowall Hotel on Friday night was followed by "jam sessions" during the day on Saturday and then a concert in the community hall on Saturday evening. A planned informal session in the garden of the Pierowall Hotel on Sunday had to be moved to the community hall because of poor weather.
